How to Use Custom Lead Times in the Analysis |
Scroll Previous Topic Top Next Topic More |
Custom lead times are time related measures calculated for a specific subprocess that was defined in the script by a selected start- and end-activity (refer to e.g. Define Custom Lead Times if you are interested in defining a custom lead time).
The custom lead time module will enhance the CaseTimes table by six new fields for each custom lead time. The custom lead time will be calculated between the start and end activities. If there are some cases that don’t have both of these activities, the calculated fields will be null(). The fields below belong to the beforehands defined custom lead time "WIP":
•WIP_StartDate
•WIP_EndDate
•WIP_LeadTime
•WIP_FormatCLT
•WIP_LeadTimeClass
•WIP_formatted_LeadTime
In this section an idea on how to use these customizable measures in the app is described:
1.Duplicate the sheet "Process Mining Dashboard" and rename it to "Sub Process Analysis".
2.Go to edit mode on the new sheet and right click on the first chart "Lead Time Evolution" to delete the link to the master visualization. Then open the chart's edit mode.
3.Edit the dimension "date" of the chart "Lead Time Evolution" by deleting the link to the master dimension. Open the editor and replace the field "CaseStartDate" with <CustomLeadTimeQualifier>_StartDate. Rename it accordingly.
4.Edit the first measure of the chart "Lead Time Evolution" by deleting the link to the master measure. Open the editor and replace the field "CaseLeadTime" in the dual-formula with one of the fields <CustomLeadTimeQualifier>_LeadTime and save. Rename it accordingly.
5.Delete the alternative measure of the chart "Lead Time Evolution". And close the chart's edit mode.
6.Next right click on the second chart " ... by Lead Time Class" to delete the link to the master visualization. Then open the chart's edit mode.
7.Edit the dimension "Lead Time Class" of the chart " ... by Lead Time Class" by deleting the link to the master dimension. Open the editor and replace the field "CaseLeadTimeClass" with <CustomLeadTimeQualifier>_LeadTimeClass and rename it accordingly.
8.Delete the alternative dimensions of the chart " ... by Lead Time Class". And close the chart's edit mode.
