Variant 1: What-if analysis with variables

Input fields/sliders can be used to enter values that are directly taken into account in the calculation of key figures - natively integrated into the platform.

You can find out how to create an individual what-if analysis with variables here.

Variant 2: Connection of Python, etc

This integration makes it possible to use various simulation libraries to carry out more complex simulations.

Example:

Simulation in which process variants are eliminated (e.g. due to standardization or automation) or mapped to the most similar "permitted" process variants in order to analyze the influence on various target key figures.

Step 1: Connecting Python with the help of an SSE

Step 2: Importing the mpmX Python scripts

Step 3: Importing the mpmX Analytics scripts with which the data is transferred to Python

Step 4: Importing the simulation dashboards from mpmX

Step 5: Starting the simulation

First take a look here at how an implementation in mpmX can be realized.

The following set-up was carried out in the use case shown:

The input factors are read from the dashboard, which performs the simulation via the embedded Python script and the results are displayed in mpmX.

The general procedure is as follows.

Variant 3: Integration of our partner solution from Silico

Silico offers a powerful simulation engine (based on system dynamics) that can be used to simulate very complex end-to-end scenarios, e.g. with an underlying financial model and CO2 calculator to cover all aspects of process simulation. https://www.silicoai.com/
